Happy Birthday Mrs Leslie

February 26, 2016
Hacton Primary is a caring community where everyone is valued. We believe it is important to show our appreciation and support for each other; this is true for both pupils and staff. It's a special birthday for our Deputy Headteacher, Mrs Leslie, so staff and pupils wanted to remind her how much she is valued.

Our whole school assembly was interrupted by a mini flash mob of Year 6 pupils and staff who danced and sang to 'Happy Birthday' by Stevie Wonder. At lunchtime, staff had another surprise for the birthday girl: a tea party in the Small Hall. In a heartfelt speech Mrs Leslie said: "I'm really, really touched and I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to spend my 30th with."

Happy Birthday Mrs Leslie! We hope you've had great fun at school today and enjoy the rest of your birthday celebrations.
